Rohan Bhargava, born and raised in New Delhi, India, began his formal dance training at The Danceworx Academy of Performing Arts. He trained in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop, and went on to serve as a performer, instructor, and choreographer in The Danceworx Company. In 2012, Rohan relocated to New York to pursue his B.F.A in Dance from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. He currently works for Kizuna Dance, Periapsis Music and Dance, Mare Nostrum Elements, and Notes in Motion Outreach Dance Theater.
Through his choreographic work as Artistic Director of Rovaco Dance, Rohan has won "Outstanding Choreography" at Tamasha NYC 2016 and received commissions from The Dance Gallery Festival, Sam Houston State University, Mare Nostrum Elements, Dancewave, Making Moves Dance Festival, and Rhythmically Speaking Dance. In 2017, Rohan collaborated with seven composers from Mannes School of Music as part of the Alsop Entrepreneurship Award. In 2019, he completed a two-year residency through the CUNY Dance Initiative at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, and he was awarded the 2020 Jadin Wong Fellowship in Dance, through Asian American Arts Alliance. Recently, Rohan was named one of Dance Magazine's "25 to Watch 2021."
Nico Gonzales, a Colorado native, started his early dance training at Denver School of the Arts, and under Brian Young and Tami Bing. He holds a BFA in Dance from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and has performed with various NYC based dance companies including Bryn Cohn + Artists, Christina Noel and the Creature, Heidi Latsky Dance, and Gwendolyn & Guests. Nico completed his Comprehensive Pilates Training from The Kane School in NYC and teaches at A Line Pilates.
Devika Chandnani is a performing artist from Mumbai, India. She began training in 2012 at The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy and danced with Navdhara India Dance Theater. Devika graduated from the Ailey/Fordham BFA in 2019 and Summa Cum Laude in Economics at Fordham University. Currently, she is performing in Third Rail Project's Then She Fell and dances site-specific works with Amirov Dance Theater and Stray Projects. She teaches Horton at Dance Theater of Harlem, The Ailey School, and The Ailey Extension.
Siddharth Dutta, born in New Delhi, India, is an architect turned contemporary dancer. He graduated in contemporary dance from Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts (Bangalore) and completed a one-year International Program at Peridance Capezio Center. During his stay in NYC, Siddharth has had the opportunity to work with renowned contemporary choreographers such as Enzo Celli, Igal Perry, Nicholas Palmquist, Vivake Khamsingsavath, Max stone, Diego Funes, and The Next Stage Project.
Isabele Rosso, born and raised in Brazil, graduated from the Independent Program at The Ailey School in 2018. She has trained with Batsheva, Hofesh Schechter, Northwest Dance Project, BODYTRAFFIC, and VIM VIGOR, deepening her experience in contemporary dance, improvisation, theater dance, floorwork and choreographic process. Isabele has worked professionally with Nimbus Dance Company as a dancer and choreographer. She has also had the privilege of performing works by Sofia Nappi, Cameron McKinney, Yoshito Sakuraba, Samuel Pott, Dawn Marie Bazemore, LAJAMARTIN, and others. Isabele is currently a dance artist with Kizuna Dance. She is a Yoga Teacher and enjoys Heels Dance.
Elise Pacicco is from Charlotte, NC and currently resides in NYC. She graduated from Wake Forest University and earned her MFA in dance from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Elise dances with Carolyn Dorfman Dance, where she works nationally and internationally as a teaching and performance artist. Other performance credits include Indah Walsh Dance Company, Urban Tribe, and Live Arts Collaborative. She has performed in works of Bill T. Jones, Paul Taylor, Shannon Gillen, Helen Simoneau, and others. Elise is certified in yoga and pilates and teaches modern dance at Pure Movement Dance Studio in Summit, NJ.
Anna grew up in Minnesota and started her dance training with hip hop and street styles. After taking her first modern dance class at 12, she fell in love and began to explore the world of classical dance. She trained at TU Dance Center throughout high school and moved to New York City following graduation. Anna has danced works by a diverse range of choreographers, including Ronald K. Brown, Uri Sands, Catherine Cabeen, Morgan Bobrow-Williams, and Gabe Katz. She currently dances with Mobilized Voices and Rovaco Dance Company and teaches for Daya Dance and James Fowler Physical Therapy.
Saúl Guanipa is a NYC-based composer, producer, and a Berklee College of Music graduate. His work has been featured by the David Lynch Foundation, AOL/Cambio, SONY, and has been widely used in television promos for HBO, Showtime, ABC, and CNN. Saúl currently works as a staff composer at VideoHelper Music + Sound Design Library. Born and brought up in Thimphu, Bhutan, Karma Chuki is a professional dancer currently pursuing dance at Peridance International Dance School in New York City. She is also currently a dancer at Dance Entropy with Valerie Green, an Apprentice at Oui Danse with Brice Mousset and a dancer at EM Dance with Elisabetta Minutoli, all based in New York City. Karma has trained under The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy since 2012 and she later became one of the principal dancers of India's leading touring contemporary company, Navdhara India Dance Theatre.
Alden Henderson is a freelance dancer and choreographer in New York City. He attended Texas Christian University, where he earned BFA degrees in Ballet and Modern Dance. Alden has performed professionally with Visions Contemporary Ballet, Bryce Dance Company, and SHIFT, Dance Arts & Media, and currently performs with Rovaco Dance Company in addition to working at New York Live Arts. Alden recently founded his own dance company, [insert dance company title here], at which he serves as artistic director, choreographer, and dancer.
Jihyun Kim, born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, got a Bachelor of Science in dance from Hanyang University. She won the Golden-Prize in the senior contemporary category in "The 41st Dong-A Dance Competition" and started to gain attention as a remarkable dancer. After graduation, Jihyun moved to New York in order to enhance her career and dance experience and in 2017, She earned her MFA in dance from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. She has performed in works by Crystal Pite, Trisha Brown, Stefanie Batten Bland, Gaspard Louis, and Alice Klock. She also has been working as an emerging choreographer in New York.

Fernando Acevedo is based in Queens, NY. His beatboxing career took off after performing in a talent show at his high school. Currently, Fernando freelances and busks all around New York City. He performs an original score for Rovaco's Kool Kids 2.0. Follow him on Social Media @apparationmuzik
A native Texan, Barry received a BA in Theatre with a minor in Fashion Design from TCU, graduating with honors in 1991. Currently, Barry heads the Costume Studies program for Sam Houston State University's Dance Department. Barry created original costumes for Rovaco's first evening lenght production KAMA.
Austin holds a Bachelors in Music from NYU. He has composed for professional film, dance, and video game projects and he collaborated with Rovaco to compose music for Kool Kids.

Mariel Harris was a company member with Rovaco from 2015-2018. She is originally from Vancouver, WA and holds a BFA in Dance from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Mariel currently dances for Sean Curran Company.
Sean graduated from University of California Santa Barbara with a B.F.A. in Dance. He worked with Rovaco in the project "7:1" commissioned by Mannes School of Music. Sean currently works as a freelance artist in Berlin, Germany.
NYC based dance artist Ashley Zimmerman was raised in Berwyn, PA. She received a BA in Dance from Point Park University under the direction of Ruben Graciani. In addition to dancing with Rovaco in 2018, Ashley has worked with BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance, CoreDance, and Caitlin Cullen Dance.
Hannah Seiden is a NYC-based freelance artist. She is pilates mat certified and holds a BFA in Dance from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Hannah worked with Rovaco in the project "7:1" commissioned by Mannes School of Music. She currently dances for Michiyaya Dance.
Holly was a company member with Rovaco in the first season. She graduated with a BFA in Dance from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU and currently creates her own solo work alongside freelancing.
Hannah Garner was selected to work with Rovaco for the "Black Widow" solo commissioned by Moving Beauty Series. She has worked as a creative assistant for Doug Varone and creates her own choreographic work with 2nd Best Dance Company.
